Being Pakistani, we all have a certain relationship with BBQ and who doesn’t love to have some if it’s neatly cooked and Lahore is the place where you get that from. though the places are literally so many and so good that we simply can’t count them out, at least not for desi food, but after going around a few places we came upon few that are really good and definitely worth trying.
Zakir Tikka
Along with really good taste (like not even kidding, it’s amazing) you get the complete desi environment and thats the best part about it. It’s great for late night cravings considering the fact that it closes at 3am, you’re good to be headed here at midnight. The pricing is pretty good, reasonable enough for accidental plans and the menu literally has everything. From Paratha rolls to karahi and of course, amazing BBQ.

Shahjahan Grill
Located in Dha Phase 4, it’s a bit of a search but not hard to get here. It’s a decent, slightly fancy place to sit and eat, really good desi food here and of course some amazing BBQ. Slightly more pricey as compared to Zakir Tikka but it’s actual value for money. Most people who go here rate it a 4 out of 5 (as on google) so that pretty much explains.

BBQ Tonight
Located on MM Alam road, the place is perfect for your desi styled fine dinings. With the reputation of chains all over Pakistan, the restaurant maintains good standards and gives you the vibes of hygienic desi food (which is unfortunately rare around here) and what matters even more is the food itself. It tastes amazing and the BBQ is just too good, juicy and flavory, you’re bound to love it.

The Lakhanvi
So it’s in Avari and that explains the part where it’s extremely fancy and a bit pricey but the experience is unlike any other. The ambience is the real deal when eating here and the food is up to your expectations. Apart from the BBQ and really good desi food, they also have a Chinese and Italian cuisine. You’ll fall in love with how the staff pampers you through your experience.

Daar Cheeni
Located on MM Alam, it could be the perfect way to end your day after shopping out and how they put it is “Desi Cuisine At It’s Best”, and absolutely, it’s among the best. The BBQ will make you wanna come back every time. Now they’re also offering home delivery and they’re open till 11pm so it’s not competitively late but fair enough for meals on average days.
